Passnap

Privacy Policy

Effective 19 October 2026

In short: Passnap does not collect, store or share any personal data. Your photos never leave your iPhone.

Photos

Photos you take or choose are processed only on your device: face detection, positioning and background cleanup use Apple's on-device Vision framework. Passnap never uploads, transmits or stores your photos on any server. Temporary working copies are kept in the app's private cache on your device and are removed by iOS when space is needed or when you delete the app.

Camera and photo library

Passnap asks for camera access to take your photo. When you choose an existing photo, iOS's system picker hands Passnap only the photo you pick; Passnap cannot see the rest of your library. Passnap asks for add-only access to save finished print sheets to your library, and never reads it.

No accounts, analytics or ads

Passnap has no sign-up, no analytics, no crash-reporting service, no advertising and no third-party tracking SDKs. It does not use your location or contacts.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; Passnap never sees your payment details or Apple ID. Your unlock is verified by StoreKit on your device and remembered in a local file.

Sharing and printing

Files leave your device only when you choose to share, save or print them, through iOS's own share sheet or print dialog, to the destination you pick.

Children

Passnap does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because it collects no information at all.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
